A. RLS charges a flat rate fee to handle your case. The amount depends on the intricate nature of your matter.
Q. Does RLS’s flat rate cover any additional expense incurred when dealing with my case?
A. Any out-of-pocket expense is considered a disbursement which is invoiced to you. Disbursements may include administrative costs, process servers, search and land registry fees, etc.
Q. How long will it take to finish my case?
A. It all depends on the issues to be resolved and or the willingness of the parties to reach an agreement.
Q. Can I settle my case without a trial?
A. Yes, in many cases the courts and tribunals encourage an early settlement.
Q. Do I need to give you a deposit if I hire you to handle my case?
A. Yes, your deposit is considered a retainer.
Q. How much is your retainer?
A. The amount of RLS’s retainer depends on the complexity of your case.
Q. If I hire RLS to represent me, will I have to attend every court or tribunal hearing?
A. No, it all depends on the type of hearing and stage of the proceeding.
